We all know the basics of woodcutting. You cut the tree and get logs. But which logs are the most profitable?

O.k., so basically, Each log has a single value, and an inventory value. A single value is how much the log is worth by itself, and an inventory value is how much a full inventory of them (28 logs) is worth.

Here is a little intro on the value of the best logs in the game.

Yew Logs:

can be cut starting at level 60.

Are worth 505 coins per log

14,000 coins per inventory.

These logs are the best logs that you can cut in free to play Runescape. These are the best way to make money in Runescape without being a really high Woodcutting level (Around 70 is sufficient for quick cutting)

Magic Logs:

can be cut starting at level 75.

Are worth 1423 coins per log

Almost 40k coins per inventory.

These are by far one of the best ways to make money at a really high woodcutting level. Starting at around level 90 woodcutting you can start to easily cut them ahead of low leveled players. At level 99 Woodcutting, you can get earn one million coins worth of logs easily in an hour and a half to two hours (on a slow world).

These are the two best ways to make money by Woodcutting in Runescape, and they can be combined with other methods to make even more of a profit! For instance, fletching some bows, stringing them, then using high alchemy on them results in even more cash than just selling the logs!

I’ve come to enjoy the long hours of solitude in a lonely place just south of Seer’s Village cutting the beautiful magic trees that grow there. I know that every chop that I take gets me a little closer to that new armor I’m saving up for, so I enjoy every last bit of it.
