FIFA 16: The underestimate player in Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho was called “the best young central defender in the world.” And many famous player think so, Didier Deschamps believes “he has everything.” Zinedine Zidane has described him as Real Madrid’s “future.”

Obviously, Raphael Varane some very notable admirers.

In 2014, he became France’s youngest ever captain at just 21 years of age, and in 2015, he appears to have moved ahead of Pepe in Real Madrid’s pecking order and cemented a first-team place at the Bernabeu under new manager Rafa Benitez.

In the transfer market, his value could be, well, almost anything. However, there’s one domain where Varane seems to be undervalued: the gaming one, in FIFA 16.

Key Attributes

Possessing extraordinary pace, remarkable recovery skills, strong aerial ability and impeccable technique, the Frenchman has the raw attributes to become the world’s finest at his position over the next five years. Scarily, at just 22, he’s probably already in the top 15 in that regard.

In FIFA 16, though, some of his attribute ratings feel short of the mark.

Impact on the System

Report:

Because of his transonic speed, all those around him have a greater licence, their margin for error larger and the effect of their mistakes minimised.

Thanks to his recovery abilities, Varane allows the defensive line to play higher. He allows the full-backs to push on. He allows his partner to gamble. He allows the midfield to play flat out. Essentially, he gives his team more options and liberties because his athleticism allows him to cover territory in a way other players can’t.

Comparisons

fifa16

For overall rating comparisons, let’s start with one of his team-mates. With a rating of 84, Pepe is considered a superior defender to Varane (82) by FIFA 16, even though the Portuguese looks to have fallen behind the Frenchman in Real Madrid’s pecking order.

Elsewhere, Barcelona’s Jeremy Mathieu, Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker and Paris Saint-Germain’s David Luiz (all 83) are all rated higher than Varane, while the likes of Atletico Madrid’s Stefan Savic and Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho (both 81) are essentially considered equals.

Varane is above the crop and in 2015-16, his title push, one of the biggestclubs in the world to play a leading role.

The advantage of FIFA 16

FIFA 16 FIFA 16 is the first video game, including the women’s soccer team. The game has realistic graphics. The game for the players has great stats for each player. For anyone who hasn’t played, Fifa 16 makes it easier to read and identify the player and the stats. Professional football players in the game looks the same in real life. I think that FIFA 16 is fun to play and it is very real it seems like you’re watching a real game. FIFA CLUB is the perfection of that kind of sense of reality is too strong, from the engine to the FIFA is always in constant improvement. The authorization of the FIFA is incomparable, of course, Europe and the United States that the market has been hard to compete with real FIFA to, including network which a piece of EA’s strength is too strong, global online CLUB online are so good, you can do in general or EA too much stronger than the K CLUB, FIFA has been making progress.

FIFA 16 : An analysis

fifa-16-cover-image

How long series have been running on this point, EA Sports has found polish, disciplined and refurbished digital sports, it was amazing.  Even with stand-out titles in Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer franchise, FIFA is here to stay and FIFA 16 seems to be the best yet.

The Ignite Engine debuted in FIFA 14 two years ago and since then, it’s been used in every major current gen sports title from EA. It’s not all about better character animation, which has improved “ten-fold” over the previous generation or more realistic stadium members or even the improved physics to limbs and clothing. Ignite has also been pegged to feature better artificial intelligence calculations and allow its players to behave more akin to real-life athletes.

FIFA 16 on both the Xbox One and PS4 runs at 1920×1080 resolution and 60 frames per second. V-Sync is employed to ensure a steady frame rate during gameplay but this drops to 30 FPS in cinematic scenes like close-ups and replays, both manual and general.

MSAA 2x is employed for both versions of the game and does a great job of smoothening out any jaggies. The result is most apparent in objects with intense curves in their complex geometry – as a result, stadiums are of the highest image quality throughout. The PC version goes a step further with MSAA 4x which results in even better looking curves.

hen observing shadows throughout the gameplay, many of them appeared smooth but we noticed some dithering every now and then. This was noticed only on the console versions, primarily during cinematic cut scenes, replays and celebrations. The PC version doesn’t have this issue, thankfully. It should also be noted that Xbox One fans receive motion blur right out of the box along with all the other platform versions.

Oddly enough, FIFA 16 on the PC doesn’t sport a range of graphical options to tinker with. You can adjust the resolution, with choices up to 3840×2160, low or high rendering quality, MSAA 2x or 4x, locked 30/60 FPS or limitless FPS and the ability to disable the Windows Aero theme in case of micro-stuttering. We’re not sure if this is better or worse than PES 16’s three graphical presets though FIFA 16 looks way better on PC.

Testing the performance on an Intel Core i7-5960X with 16 GB of RAM, we benchmarked on two different GPUs at 1920×1080 resolution.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 – Average: 240 FPS, Minimum: 218 FPS

Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 – Average: 160 FPS, Minimum: 122 FPS

We then tested these at 4K resolution.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 – Average: 133 FPS, Minimum: 106 FPS

Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 – Average: 63 FPS, Minimum: 42 FPS

In General, all three versions are very similar to each other. PC version features better antialiasing and shadow quality and jitter-free despite the minimum screen tearing in addition, PS4 and Xbox version performed well.Unfortunately, it looks like we have to wait until FIFA 17 better character animation and physics.

FIFA 16 : Incredible game

When you see “FIFA 16” for the first time, you will feel it is a real soccer match. They’ll hear me shout, cheer, and swear just like I would during a real game, They’re going to think I must be crazy. They’ll watch on for a few seconds, and with a confused expression, they’ll ask “Wait, is this a video game?” it looks so good to momentarily fool people which is a great feat.

Boots and hands on players looked abnormally large in last year’s game.

fifa16

EA seems to have scaled down hands and feet to more…normal proportions.

fifa16

The crowd in FIFA 16, It might not seem like it makes much of a difference to the overall look of the game, but little details like a better-looking crowd mount up with other small details to make a significant difference.

FIFA 16

It’s the incredibly natural player movements in ‘FIFA 16’ that make it so realistic. Just look how the player in the blue jersey receiving the pass moves his arms and body, and takes a few steps to regain his balance.

FIFA 16 – The Player Who was Underestimate

In today’s computer games so real, no more real than the FIFA 16.EA Sports’ sporting masterpiece offers a near-perfect rendition of Premier League football. The graphics, physics and likenesses are truer to life than ever before.

There’s nothing like your favorite team just to find the player on the field appeared bereft of ability he displayed in the weeks and weeks of frustration.
Arsenal fans will have that experience in a couple of cases with FIFA 16. Several of their first-team players might feel they have been short-changed by the stats team.
Hector Bellerin has become one of the most exciting attacking full-backs in Europe yet has a lower rating than, say, unheralded utility player Mathieu Flamini.

However, there’s one Arsenal player whose rating is so low it stands out from all others. In assessing the Gunners squad, the makers of FIFA have hugely underrated Francis Coquelin.

In the case of Bellerin, the makers of the game could argue he is a young player with plenty of potential to grow. However, Coquelin will be 25 before the end of the season. He is a player in his prime and deserves statistics that reflect that.

His ability to intercept the ball has at least been recognised with a mark of 84. Similarly, his capacity to spin away from markers in a congested midfield is demonstrated by a balance rating of 83. His combative spirit is also indicated by an aggression rating of 88. However, aside from that, his numbers are criminally low.
Low shooting stats are understandable. Coquelin is no goalscorer and is in fact still awaiting his first senior strike in Arsenal colours. With that in mind, an overall shooting score of 54 is not unreasonable. If there’s an area where his stats were likely to fall down, it’s surely here.

However, his lack of predatory instinct should not be mistaken for any lack of technical ability. In this season’s Premier League, he has a passing accuracy of 91 per cent, a figure unsurpassed in the Arsenal squad. It’s exactly the same ratio as Arteta, who has been afforded a passing rating of 82 by FIFA 16. Coquelin’s stands at just 70.

Giving Coquelin just 78 for short-passing is unduly harsh. The Frenchman is very tidy when playing the ball in tight areas of the field, regularly weaving neat triangles with Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey.

He’s no slouch, either. A pace stat of 70 does not do justice to the bursts of acceleration that allow Coquelin to pick up loose balls or close down the opposition. Speed is a vital stat on FIFA 16, and Coquelin’s athletic ability has not been done justice.

Perhaps most shockingly, his impeccable defensive instincts have not been properly reflected in the game. EA Sports has awarded Coquelin just 72 for marking and 78 for slide tackles.

It is difficult to determine how to Kirkland has been rated so low end team of 16 FIFA statistics. Maybe he lacks city reputation is a problem. Although Kirkland is highly valued at arsenal, he has not yet admitted in high on the international stage. If his form is as good as it is now, that first France CAP cannot be far behind.
