From a novice to an old player, I have played Path of Exile for long time, and I know the importance of a good guide to players. So, today I want to share some tips for most collectors of path of exile items about how to kill the Uber Elder, in a non-specific order:

1. You need to clear all T16 maps twice! Once to lure Elder onto shaper map and another time to kill Elder guardians. So be ready to spend 30c/map if you don’t have 2 maps of each T16 (that’s 240c of T16 maps roughly).
2. Once Shaper guardian maps are possessed by Elder guardians, they do drop the same Fragments as regular guardians! So essentially, the shaper set enables to open Shaper realm or uber Elder fight.
3. The fight is fun but at the end it’s more like a dps check. If the fight last too long you will die to the elder degen on the ground which slow you down like crazy even when you try to use movement skills.
4. If you fail, you can re-try using another shaper set (~70c), my 3rd try was the successful one.
5. The arena edge collision is really bad. Visually there is room to walk/use movement skills when close to the edge but in fact no. So you would get stuck and get rekt by Elder/shaper projectiles.
6. The fight is all about moving, you can’t stay in place unless you can negate the huge dps from the bosses. My build is miner so all I did is: lay mine then walk/shield charge. Rinse & repeat until enemies are dead.
7. If you die (which will happen for 99% of us), wait for the elder ring explosion to go-off (if it started) before resurrecting. It will save you a lot of trouble when you come back.
8. The RNG to get there is infuriating (need Elder on a T15).
9. The quest looks bug when Zana asked you to kill all 4 guardians. After you do that, the quest line doesn’t change. However if you enter shaper realm, the quest will go-on (once shaper is dead you get his key).
10. The Uber elder fight is very interesting, difficult but fun/refreshing.
11. The cost entrance is outrageous at the moment (minimum 300c worth of maps/frag).
12. The loot can be very underwhelming (I got the ring and nothing else worthy – 20-30c?)

In Path of Exile league, if you really want to take shaper down, but you don’t know which budget build could do that and doesn’t make you hate the playstyle. If sunder is also not your favourite option as melee skill. What should you do?

In fact, it is depends on your definition of “budget”.

Molten Strike Inquis with Ele Claw/Foil using Frost Blades to clear. Once you have decent gear and are level 90+ you start to really feel the dps. Requires a few ex to do all content, but is really satisfying to play and cheap to start (5 – link MS comfortably kills Red map bosses). Also good for Uber Atziri if you have a bit better gear.

Scorching Ray Trickster works well for everything. Tanky, good damage, decent clearspeed. Gear requirement is pretty low since SR has good base damage.

Spectre Summoner is really cheap and just dumpsters all bosses.

Low Life RF is really tanky. After a certain point you can basically afk kill Shaper. Requires quite a bit of currency to comfortably do Endgame content tho.

LA/Barrage build using the Tempest can be really good aswell. Abyss jewels are a bit more expensive this league, so you might have to invest a bit more currency to do Shaper, but the build clears fast and farming currency with it is really easy.

Ancestral Warchief was cheap as hell but can also scale with money. Makes it fun to make it a sole character as it is constantly getting stronger.

Starts off working great with just Meginords and Facebreaker, Great Old One’s Ward shield, cheap cheap. Get steel rings, flat phys ammy, abyssus if you want, Vulnerability\Temp chains on hit corruption on gloves, Tukohama’s etc.

If you are new to the game, follow some build guide from U4GM. Another option is to just mess around yourself and see how things work but sometimes it can get frustrating if you cannot kill monsters/progress further, so be careful with it.

Every three months, Grinding Gear Games releases large-scale updates to the Path of Exile. Developers Path of Exile from Grinding Gear Games shared impressive numbers online. Have you ever been scammed when you were a new player in Path of Exile? Today, I will tell you how to prevent changed price whisper scam. This is a common scam as well and works as following:

The scammer will find any of your listed poe items on PoE.trade and copy the message PoE.trade gives them when they want to buy it.

When they send this message they change your price within it. So for example if you had an item listed for 30 chaos they might change it to 15 chaos. They then hope you will not notice what you actually set the price of the item as and just trade them for the price they made up.

To prevent this scam, you should:

1. When you take your items out of stash to trade. Always check the price on them by hovering your mouse over them. On the bottom of the item it will say how much you have listed it for, the real price.

2. If you have alot of stash tabs you can name them things such as 1c, 10c, 20c etc. Then simply place the item within the tab of corresponding value when you want to sell it, so 10c items go in the 10c tab etc. This makes it so when the scammer sends you the whisper you will instantly notice it’s a scam. Because the message will say “Hi, I would like to buy X item listed for 15 chaos in X league (stash tab 30 chaos)”. It’s very easy to see here that you listed the item in the 30c tab but the scammer is trying to get you to sell it for 15.

3. If they change more about the message, just be wary of in what price tab you have the item and the price it’s listed as when you sell items.

Hopefully the above guide will be helpful to you. Of course, what we are talking about today is only one of the common scams. The easiest and hardest way to prevent these scams is to be more careful.

In Path of Exile, many collectors of poe currency may know, the Bestiary Challenge League will come. In the meantime, GGG has announced the patch notes of 3.2. Today, we will overview the minor new content and features of PoE 3.2.

The Witch can now select Lesser Poison Support as a quest reward upon reaching Lioneye’s Watch. The Shadow is no longer offered Lesser Poison Support as a quest reward for reaching Lioneye’s Watch (since he should already have it), and is offered Elemental Proliferation instead.

Unique poe items dropped by bosses in special areas such as the Apex of Sacrifice, the Shaper’s Realm, and Breach Domains are now allocated to the area’s creator. This also applies to Blessings dropped by Breachlords. Added 3D art for Debeon’s Dirge.

Characters deleted during an event (such as a race) are no longer removed from the ladder and can still be awarded prizes. Made improvements to Zana’s Atlas questline – in particular to the sequences featuring the Shaper and Elder. Completing Zana’s Atlas quests now grants Zana Experience. It’s easier to reach level 8 with her now.

When you use your Stash, the in-game chest now opens. It’s like you’re really there! The patcher now does significantly fewer writes during the “Allocating Space” part of the patching process. Updated several vendor recipes to now output Shaped or Elder items if all the input items were also Shaped or Elder.

More skills can now burn the grass. The Purifier has received new skill effects for its sword-creating projectile skills. Glacial Cascade’s effect now fades out, rather than popping out. The Dancing Dervish now carries across any cosmetic affects applied to it when it is Manifested.

Improved the way Sire of Shards works with weapon effects. Storm Barrier now clearly states that it does not support Minion skills. Added new Help Panel pages. For more detailed information, you can visit the official website.

Improved Achievement-checking functionality in cases where the Achievement server can’t be reached. Streamlined Zana’s ‘Take Shaper’s Orb’ dialogue options. Now the one option handles all available poe orbs. Added support for using Harbinger’s Orbs and Horizon Orbs on the most recent map series. Improved the appearance of metal throughout the game.

Recently, Path of Exile includes 1v1 and 3v3 arenas right from the get-go. Path of Exile builds off these memorable bits of D2s core gameplay in unique-but-nostalgic ways. In Path of Exile, as if player-vs-player combat in action RPGs wasn’t intense enough already. According to Grinding Gear Games’ CEO Chris Wilson, he answered a few questions to explain how the Xbox One version will differ and how the addition of a console version should benefit PC players. PCI: As far as technical improvements are concerned in future updates, do you see the limitations of the Xbox version having any impact on the PC experience at all?

Chris Wilson: Absolutely. They have and will continue to result in performance improvements that affect the PC version as well.

PCI: For future updates, how are you going to tackle balance. A console is a lot less flexible so how are classes, items etc going to be handled moving forwards? Will everything be balanced with both versions in mind?

Chris Wilson: The two versions can have separate balance. We’re attempting to use PC balance as much as possible on console, unless there’s a good reason not to.

PCI: For future content updates, are you going to be aiming for simultaneously timed releases on console and PC?

Chris Wilson: We will make every effort to launch simultaneously but we won’t delay PC releases if there is a small delay due to XBox certification or something.

PCI: Some players are concerned that development time on fixing outstanding issues with the PC version will be soaked up by console development. How are you working this at GGG?

Chris Wilson: The console developers are a separate group hired for that purpose.

Console development has so far significantly improved the PC version. The game runs massively faster because of the need to run on the console hardware.

In Path of Exile, I really hope GGG can give us another ascendency for summoners. I play a necromancer almost every league and it starts to get boring that theirs basicaly no build option. Necro is just sooooo good and theirs almost no variation.

Basicaly every summoner build uses the same tree and ascendency points beside some more hipster stuff like blink/mirror arrow summoner (and even that has only mild variation on the tree like getting all the duration nodes).

Would be really cool to have options like, dunno, elementalists gives flat ele/increased ele to allies or something like that. I also read some other collectors of poe currency point of view:

One player think it would be cool if scion was actually usable as a reliable and competitive summoner. Right now it just seems dumb to use anyone else with necromancer current state. If scion’s changes include the newer parts of champion/guardian, it could be really good to run one of those with necro.

Another player said that he played Guardian with 5 spectres and nice ES and regen. He felt his defense was fine and damage wasn’t bad compared to necro with 3 spectres (which is a fair comparison, because for 4 or 5 you sacrifice more defences than ES guardian). Biggest problem was walking around with no good movement skill and 15% MS boots.

Champion is a pretty great summoner now, particularly for SRS since that skill only has something like 60% chance to hit at higher levels. It’s really not as far away from minion stuff as you think, I’ve even seen a few spectre builds that path down from the Scion life to the duellist for the sake of getting more life and such.

You’d probably path out the attack speed and life for the shield charge speed, go up through the scion life, then start your minion journey from the scion minion wheel. Could definitely pull off some great builds with this.
